still ouch

My goodness, I have the best posse of people surrounding me EVAH.

My back is still not right. It's not nearly as bad as the day I went to the doctor, but even with the 3 medications I'm on, it's not better at all. I'm going for an MRI on it later this week.

My family and friends have been so amazing. My cousin Cathy watched Quinn and made us dinner at the same time. Andy's mom drove out here to spend a morning with us. My Gymboree friend Amy got us over to her house so I could use her fffffffffabulous jacuzzi tub, and she encouraged me to rub Ben Gay all over my back, which caused it to go up in flames, but it was all good in the end. My brother-in-law Denny even took a shift.

Quinn has loved the series of playmates this injury has brought.

And today, Colleen spent the whole day here, preparing our dinner and vacuuming our entire house. Yes. That's right. She would NOT be stopped. She vacuumed and then scrubbed our sink while holding her 3-month-old son, John in one arm.

I'm telling you.

We are blessed to have these people in our lives.

Maybe I should have but up the tree by myself? Well, in 13 days I will be home for a month and if you are still out of commission I will be there to help.
