pointing

Quinn started pointing yesterday.

Not just abstract pointing, but pointing with a purpose.

Andy made scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage for breakfast, and put some on a plate for me. I said to Quinn, "What are you going to eat???" and she pointed at my eggs.

When she was eating, she'd point to her cup of milk when she wanted more, or to the eggs when she ran out.

It came on so suddenly; as suddenly as she started crawling. One day, nope--not in her repertoire. The next day--used commonly, almost nonchalantly.

ow?

She remains very, very flexible...

I don't know why, but it totally cracks me up the way that Molly is peeking out from under her outstretched leg. And, I would like to point out, for the record, that Quinn had planned on only kissing Colleen at the Christmas party this weekend, but decided in the end that I was not only worthy of a kiss, but that I deserved several. Several kisses. And some patting. But that was probably the marribou feathers. She is a fun bunny. And I can't wait until she can come over to my house and chill. And give me kisses. And point to things. That will be fun.
