Minor update

We still don't know much, but we do know that one blood test came back and her levels of CPK are normal. CPK is a byproduct of muscle deterioration, and it's an indicator of things like muscular dystrophy. The nurse said that the normal CPK level doesn't mean necessarily that she does NOT have MD, or other similar things like spinal muscular atrophy, but it's a good sign.

Also, we're going to go to Quinn's first physical therapy session on Thursday. They'll see how she's doing ("Hey, she doesn't stand or crawl") and then figure out what we do w/her from there.

I didn't realize it was suddenly odd that a child under a year old wasn't walking or crawling yet. My nephew never crawled and didn't walk until he was almost 15 months old.Anyway, I'm all of you in my thoughts and sending good vibes your way.

I will be thinking about the bunny and her tests and PT. As for the not crawling or walking , my neice, who is 18 months, just started walking and did not crawl until after her 1st birthday. Of course she didn't have a little breathing trick like Quinn. Keep us posted, I'm praying for ya'll!

Good luck today. If you need help in performing her therapy at home please don't hesitate to call me. Tom said I was a good therapist when I helped with his arm four years ago. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Cathy
