Quinn's Blog

My father was a wonderful, funny warm, loving man who lived his whole life for his family. He had no friends, no hobbies, no outside interests or groups, but he was always there working hard to earn a living and keep up with the chores of two houses. I am so glad that he got to hold his great-granddaughter Quinn. His favorite "book" to read in the past few years was the family history that we put together for their 60th anniversary. He read it over and over. Thanks for all your hard work on it, and thanks for sharing our sorrow. Love, Marilyn

I too will miss Ron Guthrie. I've not been able to see a lot of him in recent years, but he was always the most helpful, loving, funny, caring person. Definitely one of the finest people I've ever known. Quinn will only know him from pictures and stories, but that will be valuable to her when she's older.
