Dad's home

Thanks to everyone who has written--my dad's home from the hospital. Dennis and I went to pick him up...do you think he was concerned upon realizing that the two of us (prone to wetting our pants together) were going to be in charge of his check-out?

no, Quinn hasn't shrunk...this is from Christmas

Neither one of my dad's illnesses--an 82-year-old heart and lungs full of asbestos--can be fixed. He just has to live with being short-of-breath.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone happier to be home.
