sleepy bunny
In addition to yesterday being the anniversary of finding out I was pregnant, it was also Quinn's 4 month birthday, which meant a trip to the doctor for a checkup and shots.
Everything went very well at her checkup--she weighs 16 pounds and is very healthy. (yay!) When it came time for the shots, I hustled myself out of the room, leaving Andy to be the bad guy. He brought her out to the waiting room a few minutes later. She was wearing nothing but her t-shirt and diaper, and she was sobbing with little tears coming down her cheeks and her eyes were red. It was all very sad and traumatic.
She slept today from 8:00 a.m. (right after her bath and morning bottle) to 11:00. Then from 12:00 to 1:00. Then from 2:00 to 5:00. Then from 6:00 to 7:00. Then she went to bed for the night at 8:30.
Is this from the shots? Or is she becoming narcoleptic?

It's the shots. Morgan slept all day after his 4 month appointment! (and Sam MUST attend all shot-giving appointments so that he can be the bad guy, and I can be the hero who comforts him.)

It's the shots!*Been through it twice myself. When mine were itty bitty ones, those damn shots terrified me so much, they slept in the bassinett right next to my bed that evening.*It helps to give them motrin right before the visit, but I would ask becuase some doc's offices do that also. Then you won't double the dose.*Adorable kid!*Great jornal!
