snowbunny

I don't know where I've been lately. Quinn is into all sorts of mischief. She reaches for things more and more--tonight she was actually entertaining herself by petting and poking at one of her stuffed toys. It was amazing--like watching a real baby play.
She kicks her legs when she's lying on her back--WAAAYY UP in the air, like she's going to do a kip or something. But when we put her on her tummy, she still buries her head in the blanket and cries. This sister is never going to crawl.
And the mysterious sitting-up things is still happening. I don't know where she's headed...but when the urge to get up strikes, there's no stopping her. She spent a recent trip to Woodfield Mall hunched over in her infant carrier, staring at her lap, because she refused to sit back in her seat.
Tomorrow is going to be a snowbound day for us, so maybe I'll write a longer entry over at Parsley. If I do, it will be dedicated to my sister-in-law Cinda, who is parched for my magical words. Love her!
