Listen now to what I say about the kids of today
Long ago, my friend Eriq picked up his boots from the dust and moved out to El Lay to be a sound guy in the movie biz. He came back to be in my wedding (he's the one just to the right of me), but it's a bummer not havin' Q around. If I didn't have Amy around to do schtick with, I'd prob'ly just be Mr. Grumpy pants all the time.
A few months ago, Eriq and his wife Violet had a son, Peter. Amy and I wanted to get Peter a present, and we were lucky enough to find it at a garage sale: A baby-sized A-Team T-shirt. Eriq's adoration of the A-Team is legend, so we knew we had the perfect gift.
Yesterday, a package came from California. In it, the letter said "sorry it took so long to get this to you. We think you'll find it worth the wait." Thanks, Q, I do.

For those unaware of the mighty Naked Raygun, they were the band that invented (if not defined) the "Chicago punk rock sound" of the late 80s and early 90s. Their album Jettison (which is where the guy on the shirt is from) was my first real exposure to any music outside of the standard classic rock radio fare. It completely changed my outlook.
Eriq's as big of a fan of Raygun as I am, so I'm sure that Peter also has a matching one of these, too....

This baby has GREAT taste in music. Although I prefer ALL Rise and Throb Throb, but kids these days have different tastes.

Wow!*It's pretty exciting to see babies with this kind of stuff. The best I was able to do for my nieces was a White Sox jumper and a NPR bib.I am enthused to go baby clothes shopping again!
