Mess
I'm in the process of organizing my office.
It's so awful that I just can't stand it. Next week I'm going to start planning for next year--I'm teaching full-time again! Yay!--and it just has to be organized. I will perish if I live like this any longer. I WILL PERISH.

My God, we're all slobs! Why can't I get it together? I used to have my paperclips organized not only by size, but by color scheme! This is just unacceptable (to be said with a Supernanny accent).

I think your standards are just too high - I WISH my home office were as organized as yours is in this photo! (Clearly I'm the real slob!)
Amy, (1) That is great about teaching full-time again. Are you teaching at your old school? (2) Good luck organizing. I recommend inviting a friend over who has a stony heart when it comes to throwing things away. Mine came over last night and made me turn around, cover my eyes, etc., whatever it took for her to start tossing things. It was very helpful. Today I can't even remember what she threw away. I have no idea if having too much stuff is one of your issues, but if it is, call in the reinforcements. It's the only way I can do it.
