Cost

Look at how much this war is costing us.

To say nothing of the amount of lives we've lost.

Disgusting. George W. Bush, you are disgusting.

And someone posted a comment about that ... that I find useful.

"A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective in one of its recent releases:
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate Washington spends it."

and... those numbers were from 2003.

Yes, but now that we're there, we've got to finish. Too bad dubya can't define what equals 'finish'

Yes I agree with you, the cost of this war more than shocking.
I think Bush and his fellas should be charged for this mess.

I cannot believe that wars are still fought in this day and age. Have we not evolved more than this??? Obviously not since a chimp-boy is president of this country. I never thought I would live to see the day when I would be embarrassed to be an American. I could go on and on.....

Just curious as to how everyone felt about "Dubya" after 9/11?? It pains me to read comments about being embarrassed to be an American. They have passports for those situations.

I'm not embarrassed to be an American...I'm embarrassed that my fellow countrymen voted him as our leader, though. Patty, you can't tell me you support this man, this war...? I thought we were soul sisters! ;)

Oh, honey.....we can be "soul sisters" and not agree on everything. For instance, you like Taylor Hicks! I was broken-hearted when Paris got the boot:(
(Btw....I keep checking now and then to see if you're "with child" - the world needs another beautiful baby:) Hugs to you, Patty

PattyG are you asking how 'everyone' felt about GWB after 9/11? Or just Amy?

Passports? Are you kidding?

I won't use Amy's forum for a further discussion, feel free to join in on K2.

Tampa lost another soldier this past weekend. His mother can not even make a comment.

Peace,
Cathy

Cathy - If I wished to bicker with you, I'd know where to find you. Notice, I haven't done so.
