Two things
1.) Have you ever seemingly spent the day picking up and doing laundry and trying to organize each and every room so that it is clutter-free and then, after hours of this, felt like you've gotten absolutely nowhere?
Do we have too many things? Is our house too small? Why can't it all just stay in its place? We're all pretty good about picking up after ourselves. I don't understand how there can be things out of place all over the house! All the time!
I am done for today. On Eliza's orders I'm going to watch the Scripps Spelling Bee so that we can discuss it tomorrow. After I call my friend Anne and wish her a happy 40th birthday. (ducking)
2.) The password protection of Quinn's journal is due to a creepy e-mail, yes. But no, it's not closed to everyone. If you're a regular reader, please email me and get the password! Amy at parsley dot org.

Bummer on the creepy e-mail. I liked reading about your escapades with Quinn -- it's like a glimpse of what's to come. : )
Duck all you want, sister, you're not too far behind! Hee hee. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Sorry about the creepy emailer; some people are so stupid.
Y'all have a great kid; you are wonderful parents.
Kathy
You know, I've been reading your blog & Quinn's blog for a couple of years now and I rarely leave comments, but the other day I commented on the Taylor post over here and the play post over there, and today it's password protected! Yikes! Sorry you're getting creepy e-mails, but at the same time, glad I didn't offend by leaving a comment when I don't actually know you folks personally.
I'm glad this journal is password protected even though I liked reading it. I am having a child soon so it helped to prepare and entertain me. Anyhow, I thought about all those creepy people you hear about on the news and how this site might be a magnet for those types. It's too bad we live in a world where you have to think of things like that when you making a blog about your child. Anyway, good luck with the rest of your lives as parents
That day you described, with the picking up and feeling like you got nowhere? Pretty much every single day at our house. I'm always tossing stuff out or putting it in a box for Goodwill or garage sale, but sometimes I wish we could get rid of everything and start over.
HI AMY!
Oh wow... picking up and organizing and somehow not having anything to show for it at the end of the day...? That's my story, completely.
Last night, I told the littles (Sweet Pea is almost 4 and Buddy is 2-1/2) to stay out of the bathroom so I could clean it (I don't like them being in there with the smelly chemicals) -- when I was done cleaning the bathroom, I discovered both their rooms were a complete mess. They had pretty much trashed their rooms. If only I could have them use their powers for good... *sigh*
I'm sorry to hear about the creepy email re:Quinn. That's kinda spooky.
Hi,
Candy M. and I from Follett both enjoy reading about Quinn. It's too bad you have to lock it down. Can you please share the password with us? Sorry about the creepy email!
