Today was a happy day...the day I found myself in the arms of Jennifer Weiner again.
We met three years ago after exchanging e-mails, and I've gone to see her read whenever she's in Chicago ever since. If Cameron Diaz is her BFF, I am hers.

It's funny to see how each year her readings are more and more crowded...most of the women there look familiar to me, like they're people I'd be friends with had I met them in daily life. (Hi Shannon!) And the only two times I've been recognized because of my web page have been at Jennifer Weiner readings. I think it's safe to say that her readers are my people.

I <3 her books SO much-- I got "Little Earthquakes" for my birthday.
Ooohh! I'm SOOOOO jealous! Hope you had a good time! If you're her BFF, tell her to read in Texas SOON!
I'm green with envy! I love Jennifer...read the books, saw the movie. Lucky you to be able to actually TALK to her!
That's so cool! Didja tell her I said "hey"? Yeah, thanks.
Did she mention me?! We traded emails about The Bachelor once, you know. We're like THIS, me and Jen Weiner.
Wow - I'm not sure which of you looks cuter in those photos! :) I actually found your site through Jennifer's, which was the first blog I'd ever read. It was when she linked to your post about that obnoxious thread on Mothering. Anyway, I went to a reading of hers in Denver, got to meet her afterward and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I'm jealous, too! If she ever gets to Dayton to read I'll be sure to drop your name so she thinks I'm cool by association.
Man, am I ever sad that I could not go with you, since obviously then Jennifer Weiner and I could have been, if not BFF, then at least F's!!!! :)
oh, so jealous. I really have a soft spot for her. Her writing and in general, her personality. I'm sure you had a blast. I got an autographed copy of "In Her Shoes" over the summer at "Unclaimed Baggage" in Scottsboro, Alabama (for $5 - what a bargain considering the movie has done so well, it's even more special!) - some poor soul lost their baggage and I got a cool autographed copy of her book out of it!
HOLLAAA!
I recognized you at a JDub reading. I think I told you I couldn't decide who I was more excited to meet, you or Jennifer Weiner. Good times, good times.
That is SO cool! Jennifer Weiner rocks! If I lived in the Chicago-area and went to one of her readings, I would totally recognize you. Not sure who I would be more excited to meet!
How cool, she is brilliant. Am finally off to see In Her Shoes today. Want to go with oe particular girlfriend you know? Had to wait 2 weeks til she was free. Evidently she has no children and a gerat big life instead :)
