I am answering emails that have been sitting in my inbox. One is from SEPTEMBER!! My goodness, people, I don't even deserve your attention! I am a lazy slacker!!!

Hi Amy, got your email. Don't worry about how long it took to answer my email. I am sure you are busy with the kids!!
Life out here in LA is very busy and fast paced.
I work at a high school in Culver City in Special Education. I have been working here for the past 20 years and am retiring in June. Really looking forward to it!!!
Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy those kids! My daughter is now 27 and married. They do grow up very fast.

Can I just say that, as much as I love your site and how the new blog-type layout can theoretically help you update more often...I really miss the old WIDUP? The whole cereal/kitchen type theme seemed so cool and gave me a kind of impression of you as a kind of hip-neat-different person. The new one seems a bit more yuppie. Who am I to talk? I have a journal I haven't updated in two years. I still love to read you.
