Paints, page 2

These are the pink stripey walls. Henri drew around allll the flowers with a black Sharpie to make them stand out. The bottom 3 feet of the room is going to be wallpaper...very light diamonds with the light and dark pink colors. (Picture of it here.)

None of the furniture is in the room (except the crib) so it's not looking pretty just yet...and we have a white ceiling fan to replace that '70s relic...

But enough jibba-jabba. Here's the closet wall:

The "watch me grow" thing is a growth chart...it goes up to 4 feet, at which point we're thinking she'll tire of whimsical flowers.

For this next part to make sense, I guess you have to know that Andy calls me "bunny" and I call him "chimpy." (I don't want to hear a word from any of you.)

Andy came home for lunch one day and found Ericka painting stripes and Katie working on the mural. She had just drawn the chimp with a long, curly tail.

"Hey, chimps don't have tails!" he said, perhaps not as respectful of their toiling as he could have been.

"No," Ericka said, "but they have big fuckin' mouths!"

Eventually, the tail got painted off. And what's that the bunny is eating? <chomp chomp chomp> Yum!
